SENSHI 26 Brings Dutch and Romanian Power to the Arena

SENSHI 26: Florin Ivanoaie (Romania)

As May 17 draws near, the iconic Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, is gearing up to host an unforgettable evening of elite combat sports at SENSHI 26 Gladiators. Tickets are now available through Eventim.bg, and the most coveted seats are quickly being snapped up by fans.

This 26th edition of SENSHI will feature four prominent fighters from Romania and the Netherlands. Two Dutch athletes will make their SENSHI debuts, while two experienced Romanian kickboxers return to take on fresh challengers in front of the Bulgarian crowd.

Arend van Montfoort (Netherlands), Enfusion champion, is set for his first appearance at SENSHI. He will square off against Calio Gibrain (Brazil) in a heavyweight showdown (+95 kg) under KWU FULL CONTACT rules.

Rio Richardson (Netherlands), winner of the Fair Fighting Championship, will also debut in the SENSHI ring. He faces off against returning Romanian competitor Florin Ivanoaie in another +95 kg bout governed by KWU FULL CONTACT rules.

Marius Munteanu (Romania), a decorated athlete holding titles from the Colosseum Tournament, Kombat London, Fight Zone, and Cezar Fighting Championship, will go head-to-head with Francesko Xhaja (Albania) in a +95 kg contest under KWU FULL CONTACT rules. At his SENSHI debut, Munteanu claimed victory over French fighter Sene Lamin.

Florin Ivanoaie (Romania), national boxing vice-champion and reigning DFS Tournament 2023 heavyweight champion, impressed at SENSHI 25 in February with a technical knockout win over Francesko Xhaja. His upcoming clash with Rio Richardson is one of the most anticipated matchups of SENSHI 26.

The main entrance of the Ancient Theatre in Plovdiv will open to spectators at 6:00 PM EET, with SENSHI 26 Gladiators kicking off at 7:00 PM EET / 12:00 PM EST. Please note that the entrance from Tsar Boris III Obedinitel Blvd. will be closed during the event.
