Top fighters put their strength to the test using the PowerKube at SENSHI GYM

During the International Training Camp of the Bulgarian Karate Kyokushin Federation, held from September 5 to 9, 2024, in Varna, Bulgaria, hundreds of fighters and coaches gathered for a memorable training experience and a rich exchange of knowledge. Their goal was to elevate their skills and connect with great martial arts masters.

One of the standout features of the camp was the opportunity for BKKF athletes to test their abilities with the innovative PowerKube device, located at the SENSHI GYM sports center. Many of the BKKF nationals were eager to challenge themselves and see how their strength measured up on this cutting-edge technology.

The PowerKube, a recent addition to the gym, played a pivotal role in the fighters' training sessions. This advanced device is designed to precisely measure and analyze striking power, offering immediate feedback and detailed performance data for each kick. Equipped with sensors and tailored analytical software, it provides accurate insights into the athlete's strength, helping fighters refine their skills.

SENSHI referees and instructors, including Sensei Zahari Damyanov and Sensei Peter Martinov, were among the first martial artists to test the PowerKube. The device was also used by professional fighters preparing for SENSHI 23, giving them valuable data ahead of their ring appearances.

On September 8, Atanas Bozhilov visited SENSHI GYM to test the power of his renowned left hand, known for knocking out Jaiteh Ndow Bubu in a previous beach arena bout.

Other fighters from the SENSHI professional circuit, including Dragomir Petrov, Mihail Velchovski, national Kyokushin champion Nikolay Yorgov, and Mario Kirilov (cutman for the international gala and coach at ARMEEC GYM - Sofia), also participated in the PowerKube tests.

The PowerKube, a top-of-the-line sports technology, is customizable for different workout types, impact categories, and athlete levels. It provides unparalleled insights into training performance, previously only available in high-end sports science labs. By adjusting measurements for factors such as height and weight, the device delivers a personalized analysis of each kick's power. This makes the PowerKube a revolutionary tool for martial arts training, offering detailed feedback to professionals as they prepare for upcoming victories and further improving the training experience for all combat sports athletes in Varna.
