
The first challenge before the highly anticipated clashes of the international gala fight night has been successfully completed. The official weigh-in for SENSHI 17 took place on July 7 in Varna, set on the picturesque beach in front of the "More" restaurant in the "St. St. Constantine and Helena" resort. This event marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the fighters, who will enter the ring on July 8, fully prepared and eager for nothing less than victory.
All 36 fighters made their weigh-ins within their respective categories, demonstrating their readiness to showcase impressive results in tomorrow's highly anticipated fight show. The 17th edition of SENSHI will take place on July 8 in Varna, right on the beach in front of the "More" restaurant at the "St. St. Constantine and Helena" resort, kicking off at 18:00. The international gala evening promises an action-packed fight card featuring 18 thrilling matchups, with competitors from over 19 countries taking part. These athletes will battle under the respected KWU Full Contact, KWU OPEN, and KWU SENSHI rules. A total of 36 determined and highly skilled fighters, including experts in Kyokushin, Muay Thai, MMA, and kickboxing, will display their exceptional talents inside the ring. This particular edition of SENSHI will hold even more significance for the Bulgarian audience, thanks to the strong participation of Bulgarian fighters, who will step into the arena with unmatched determination and motivation to emerge victorious. Among them are WAKO PRO world champion Atanas Bozhilov, who will compete for the European SENSHI title; European K-1 pro champion and WAKO World 2015 titleholder Aleksandar Petrov; intercontinental WKF champion Teodor Hristov; four-time national kickboxing champion Dragomir Petrov; four-time Bulgarian kickboxing champion Mikhail Velchovsky; European and two-time world MMA champion Delyan Georgiev; and Bozhidar Ivanov, a 6-time MMA champion of Bulgaria in 3 different categories.
