1st European Open SENSHI championship

Fighters from 15 countries are set to compete in the 1st European Open SENSHI Championship, taking place on July 8th, 9th, and 10th. The finals will occur on July 9th and 10th in Kamchiya and will be broadcast worldwide. Organized by the KWU International Professional League, only the best fighters will reach the finals and battle for prestigious SENSHI European belts.

On the opening day, all qualification matches will take place. A total of 60 participants are divided into six weight categories: -70 kg, -75 kg, -80 kg, -85 kg, -90 kg, and +90 kg, with each division featuring 10 fighters. The semi-finals will be held on July 9th, while the finals will align with the 9th edition of the international elite fight night, SENSHI, on July 10th.

The SENSHI 9 event will feature six European championship finals alongside seven professional bouts involving fighters from 11 countries. In total, 13 exciting fights will be conducted under KWU SENSHI and KWU Full Contact rules.

Spectators can attend the events on all three dates. On July 8th and 9th, matches will occur in the main sports hall of SC “Kamchiya” between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. On July 10th, the finals and professional bouts will commence at 8:00 PM local time in the amphitheater in Kamchiya. Entry is free for all spectators.

SENSHI Gala broadcast and partners

SENSHI 9 will be broadcast on Bulgaria ON AIR, MAX Sport, and Boec.BG, as well as globally on FITE, Boec.COM, Kwunion.com, Kyokushin Karate News, and Fighto.News.

Both the European Open SENSHI Championship and SENSHI 9 coincide with the 15th KWU International Summer Kyokushin Camp, starting July 4th, which gathers Kyokushin elite from around the world. Originally planned for 2020, the European Championship was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic but is now set to proceed, brought to fruition by the KWU International Professional League under the leadership of Shihan Ivo Kamenov.
