
The professional martial arts event SENSHI will celebrate its anniversary edition on February 24th in Varna, Bulgaria.
The first KWU SENSHI International Training Camp of 2024 will take place from February 22 to 25 in Varna, drawing martial artists from around the world. Known for its rich format, the camp offers participants the unique opportunity to learn from renowned martial arts masters. Young fighters will have the chance to refine their techniques and develop skills in various disciplines, including Kyokushin, kickboxing, MMA, and Muay Thai, under the guidance of legendary fighters.
On February 24, the 20th anniversary edition of SENSHI will elevate the excitement for combat sports fans across the country. The event will feature live bouts from professional fighters representing 17 different countries. The anniversary fight gala will commence at 18:00 at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna. During the training camp, Varna will also host martial arts legends who will serve as leading instructors, as well as special guests and referees for the SENSHI 20 fight night:

Ernesto Hoost (Netherlands): A four-time K-1 World Champion, Savate World Champion, ISKA Full Contact World Champion, Muay Thai World Champion, and a member of the KWU SENSHI board.

Shihan Semmy Schilt (Netherlands): Glory Grand Slam 16-man Tournament Champion, Glory World Champion, four-time K-1 Grand Prix Champion, K-1 World Champion, three-time King of Pancrase, two-time World Kudo Champion, President of KWU SENSHI Europe, and a board member of KWU SENSHI.

Shihan Francisco Filho (Brazil): A two-time K-1 Grand Prix Champion, 1999 Absolute World Champion, participant in the 100-man kumite in 1999, World Champion in 1997, four-time Brazilian Champion, three-time South American Champion, President of KWU SENSHI South America, and a board member of KWU SENSHI.

Shihan Nicholas Pettas (Japan): European and World Karate Champion, the last Uchi-deshi of Masutatsu Oyama, K-1 Japan Grand Prix winner, SENSHI ring announcer, and board member of KWU SENSHI.

Shihan Glaube Feitosa (Brazil): K-1 World Grand Prix Las Vegas Champion 2005, second place in K-1 World GP 2005, two-time Brazilian Champion, South American Champion, second place in the 1st World Weight Championship, MVP of the World Team Cup 1998, and World Champion at the World Team Cup 2002. He is also the Vice President of KWU SENSHI South America and a board member of KWU SENSHI.

Albert Kraus (Netherlands): The first K-1 World MAX Champion in 2002 and first SUPERKOMBAT Middleweight Champion, World Champion in Kickboxing and Muay Thai, and a board member of KWU SENSHI.

Sensei Jan Soukup (Czech Republic): Second place at the 9th Kyokushin World Open 2007, European Champion, winner of the All Japan Tournament, Yangame’s Fight Night Heavyweight Champion, and a board member of KWU SENSHI.

Sensei Petar Martinov (Bulgaria): Kyokushin World Champion 2014, Kyokushin European Champion 2006, third place in the European Open 2008, three-time European Tameshiwari Champion, and a board member of KWU SENSHI.

Sensei Yusuke Fujii (Japan): Third place in the KWU World Championships, six-time All-Japan Champion in both absolute and weight divisions, Australian and New Zealand Full Contact Champion, and SENSHI Chief Operation Officer (COO), Chairman of the Strategic Committee, Chairman of the Educational Committee, and a board member of KWU SENSHI.
Participants in the training camp will not only enhance their fighting abilities but also have the opportunity to catch the attention of SENSHI talent scouts. This could serve as a direct pathway to the professional sports arena and offer a real chance to compete in future editions of the international SENSHI circuit. Scouts will assess fighters for their potential success in the upcoming martial arts gala.
