K-1 World MAX Tournament Headlines Dynamite Fighting Show 30 in Bucharest

Dynamite Fighting Show (DFS) will host a K-1 World MAX tournament on April 3 at the Polivalent Hall in Bucharest, as part of the promotion’s 30th anniversary event. The night will feature an eight-man kickboxing tournament in the K-1 MAX 70 kg division, with the winner earning automatic qualification for the K-1 World MAX Final 16 in Tokyo.

The event marks the return of a K-1 style pyramid tournament to Bucharest for the first time in 16 years. The last time such a format was staged in the Romanian capital was in 2010, when the competition featured heavyweight fighters. This time, Dynamite Fighting Show will spotlight the 70 kg K-1 MAX division, bringing together elite kickboxers from across Eastern Europe.

K-1 World MAX Tournament Brings Eastern European Fighters to Bucharest

The one-night K-1 kickboxing tournament will feature eight fighters competing in a traditional elimination bracket. To win the title and secure a place in the K-1 World MAX Final 16, the champion will need to win three fights in a single evening.

Romania will be represented by several top fighters, including ISKA world champion Călin Petrișor, Andrei Varga, who was named Rising Star of the Year 2024, two-time ISKA amateur world champion Albert Enache, and Ștefan Vrânceanu, who remains undefeated in Romania.

The international lineup adds further depth to the tournament. Among the participants are former GLORY champion Sergey Adamchuk from Ukraine, ISKA European champion Marek Pelcis from Latvia, King of Kings and FEA champion Vitalie Matei from Moldova, and WAKO Pro world champion Oguz Yildirim from Turkey.

Bogdan “Bad Boy” Stoica Returns in the Main Event

In addition to the K-1 tournament, the fight card will feature a kickboxing super fight in the main event. Romanian star Bogdan “Bad Boy” Stoica, who recently delivered one of the most spectacular knockouts at the K-1 Final 8 in Tokyo, will return to the ring.

Stoica is scheduled to face WBA Muay Thai champion Gerardo “The Blade” Atti in a high-profile bout expected to headline the Dynamite Fighting Show event in Bucharest.

Florin Lambagiu vs Constantin Rusu Rematch

Another key matchup on the DFS fight card will be a rematch between Florin “Rambo” Lambagiu and Constantin Rusu from Moldova. The two fighters previously met five years ago, when Rusu secured the victory. Their second meeting is expected to be one of the most anticipated fights of the evening.

Additional Fighters on the Dynamite Fighting Show Card

The Dynamite Fighting Show 30 event will also feature several other well-known fighters, including Tolea Ciumac, Mihai Zmărăndescu, Ion Grigore, and Costin Dinu. The promotion is expected to announce the full kickboxing fight card in the coming weeks.

The anniversary event will return Dynamite Fighting Show to the venue where the promotion was originally launched eight years ago — the Polivalent Hall in Bucharest. Organizers expect more than 5,000 spectators to attend the event, which is scheduled to include 13 fights across the main card.
